A launch party for the magazine will be held on Friday, Feb 13th at event sponsor, ESS Lounge at 327 W. Davie Street in Raleigh with doors opening at 10 p.m. sharp. Local models will be competing in a fashion show to become “Seen Angels” with Tough Love Boutique and Designer Kendall introducing their latest fashions to Raleigh area. Seen Magazine will be distributed to 100 locations reaching over 25,000 subscribers. The cutting edge magazine is free of charge and covers Raleigh local entertainment, nightlife, scandals, music, fashion, rumors and trends. Susan Thompson, executive producer of The Susan Thompson Show, says SEEN is truly a unique magazine for the Raleigh area. It has the sophistication, sensuality and trendiness of a big city journal, but is based entirely on local content, personalities and models. The magazine has partnered with web based Good News Broadcast Network out of New York City. In addition to print media, advertisers will have an opportunity to post their ads on www.goodnewsbroadcast.com which is a very high traffic site with over 2 million hits per day. The magazine has also partnered with The Andy Transplant Foundation, www.andytransplantfoundation.org, a charity dedicated to raising funds in support of organ transplant recipients. An auction is planned at the Gala event in support of the foundation with auction items from around the country including a autographed football from Franco Harris, Don Maynard and Albert Haynesworth, and a getaway package donated by The Prospector’s Lodge in Park City, Utah. Auction items will be available for viewing before the live auction begins. The ESS Lounge will be rolling out the red carpet to all who want to be part of Seen Magazine’s Launch while helping support a wonderful cause.
